Refund policy.
This page describes how WAppTrack Personal handles refunds, the statutory withdrawal rights that apply in the EU, EEA and UK, the auto-renewal disclosures required in parts of the United States, and the narrow discretionary cases where we'll issue a refund outside those rules.
Operationally drafted; not legal advice. Where local mandatory consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those local rights prevail.
Universal policy
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance and auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
- You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not pro-rate or refund the current billing period — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Outside the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal window described below, monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable, except as set out under “Discretionary refunds.”
- The €1 / 3-day live-connection trial (when launched) is non-refundable. Declining to convert ends the trial automatically and no further charge is made.
- Storage and capacity add-ons are non-refundable once allocated to your archive.
Discretionary refunds
At WAppTrack's sole discretion, we may issue a partial or full refund where:
- the service has been materially unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours within a single billing period;
- a duplicate charge has occurred through a clear payment-processor error; or
- the account never connected a WhatsApp number and you request the refund within 7 days of payment.
European Union / EEA
14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, the Consumer Rights Directive gives you the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason.
When the right of withdrawal lapses
The right of withdrawal lapses where the service has been performed in full with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. WAppTrack obtains this consent and acknowledgment during checkout, before any service is performed.
Partially performed services
If you withdraw within 14 days after the service has begun (with your express prior request to start during the withdrawal period), we may charge you a pro-rata amount proportionate to the services already supplied up to the point of withdrawal, and refund the remainder.
How to withdraw
Email hello@wapptrack.app with a clear statement of withdrawal. You may use the EU model withdrawal form below, but you are not required to.
Refund processing
Where withdrawal applies, we'll process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless you've expressly agreed otherwise.
United Kingdom
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the same 14-day cooling-off right and the same loss-of-right mechanic on full performance described above. The withdrawal route is identical: email hello@wapptrack.app with a clear statement of cancellation.
United States
Outside specific state laws, there is no general statutory cooling-off period for digital subscription services in the United States. Refunds are discretionary and are governed by the “Discretionary refunds” rules in the Universal section above.
California auto-renewal (CARLA / AB 390)
- We provide a clear-and-conspicuous renewal disclosure during checkout, including the recurring price, the billing cadence, and how to cancel.
- You can cancel an auto-renewing subscription online from the dashboard, in the same channel you used to purchase — no phone call required.
- For annual plans, we send an advance renewal-reminder before the renewal charge.
- If a renewal charge is mistakenly billed after a valid cancellation, we'll refund it.
New York and similar states
Equivalent auto-renewal disclosures apply in New York and other states with similar consumer-protection statutes. The renewal-disclosure, online-cancellation and refund-on-erroneous-charge rules described above apply to subscribers in those states as well.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact hello@wapptrack.app before initiating a chargeback — we can almost always resolve billing issues directly and faster than the card-network process. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension pending review.
Rest of world
For consumers outside the EU, EEA, UK and US, monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable beyond the local mandatory consumer-protection minimums that apply in your jurisdiction. Where local law gives you stronger refund or withdrawal rights than this policy, those local rights prevail.
How to request a refund
- Email hello@wapptrack.app with the subject line “Refund request.”
- Include the email address on the account and a brief reason for the request.
- We'll respond within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
